Alvina Frisbie Scholarship

Before her passing Alvina Frisbie wanted to do something for our Chinook people and set up and endowment with U.S.Bank for educational scholarships.

Thanks to Alvina we have awarded scholarships worth over $225,000. With these scholarships many of our people have reached their dream.

We raise our hands in thanks to Alvina Frisbie!

Frisbie scholarships are available to Chinook Tribal members and can be used for vocational, 2-year, 4-year, and post graduate studies. A recipient is eligible for up to four awards.

Each student is required to volunteer a total of 20 hours prior to each application.
